Antares: a self-hosted AI pentest agent, in one binary
Antares is an open-source AI agent for penetration testing and everyday work, running on your own machine. Point it at a target you are authorized to test: security specialists map the attack surface, test web apps against OWASP and test APIs, record every confirmed finding with its severity and reproduction, and compile the pentest report.
Penetration testing
- Six security specialists: recon, web app, API, report, threat modeling and incident response.
- Over 7,000 testing procedures: web, API, cloud, infrastructure, Active Directory, Kerberos, the OWASP testing guide, MITRE techniques, CIS and NIST benchmarks.
- An engagement methodology in five phases, each complete only with its evidence.
- An HTTPS intercepting proxy with breakpoints, a real browser, and browser-fingerprinted HTTP.
- For authorized testing only; no exploit payloads, offensive tooling or evasion techniques ship with it.
Everything else an agent needs
Files and a persistent shell, web search, memory and native RAG, scheduling and standing goals, Telegram and Discord, MCP servers and skills. A Go backend, a React dashboard, a terminal UI and a desktop app for Linux, macOS and Windows.
